Video quality is very poor
I’m honored, to be the very first person to comment on this video.
in 1:16:21 why assume the realizability of "rectangles", why not "triangle ". I assume the shape doesn't matter. All that matters is that there exist a closed region in the papaya space that contain only Tasty papayas
Because he is developing a simple decision boundary. For example, linear classifiers such as logistic regression or support vector machines (SVMs) aim to separate classes in feature space using hyperplanes, which are high-dimensional analogs of lines or planes. These linear decision boundaries can be seen as forming rectangular regions when projected back into the original feature space. A "triangle" is for more complex decision boundaries such as a decision tree or a neural network with many layers.
With BCS being "easier" (if math is not your thing), there's really no reason to get a BMath (CS)
So I am incoming student, going to take CS145. I also got transfer credit for CS486. Does this affect MAV at all?
I also have Math 135 and 137 transfer credits.
Thanks Prof. Tibshirani.... You are an honest man.God bless.
Thank you for the video!
Way to be, Soph!! xoxo
WooHoo!! Go Sophia, Go!!! xoxo
what if someone wants to transfer from CS Conestoga College to waterloo CS.
Whats the difference between computer science and itm
Amazing video!
If I transfer my Diploma to degree in university of Waterloo (in computer science) then can I got co-op at Waterloo?????
it is really helpful for my holiday homework thanks for the information
nice
Jeff just won the 2020 Turing award for his contributions to compilers. He is also a big name in databases and he is now doing data science.
@@hoss0001 It is because of the long-term deep problem between Isreal and Iran. It is more of a political issue rather than racist. The term racist is being overused (this is both bad and sad)
@@ZhanCaitao by his standards late Maryam Mirzakhani shouldn't have been admitted to Harvard and shouldn't have been a professor at Stanford and won a Field's Medal :) I would listen to how Iranian-american students have been affected by such kinds of sentiments before downplaying it as just political free speech.
Very cool !
my left ear really enjoyed this
made my day lol
I knew Joanna since we were in elementary and middle school. She is a true inspiration and a beautiful soul. I'm very proud of her and the success she made.
In which term was this recorded?
They have uploaded the old lecture series from Jan 7, 2015. They're presented in a playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLPW2keNyw-usgvmR7FTQ3ZRjfLs5jT4BO.html

Nice! When's Your Next video? #wow :O
The least thing you could do when you introduce someone: Enquire the correct pronunciation of his name. You could have asked Prof. Filipović.
Truly enjoy keshavs lectures! An excellent professor and personality
Great talk. A mix of Supply Chain planning, statistics, machine learning, and context knowledge (medical/Supply chain). Go Rob!
Can I transfer my credits to Bachelor program in Physics if I had completed advanced diploma in mechanical engineering?
This video is specific to the Faculty of Mathematics. If you are interested in Physics you would be looking for the Faculty of Science - the Admissions department can assist you at myapplication@uwaterloo.ca.
I am grateful to Prof. Tibshirani for making his books available online for free.
Wtf? Proof of stake? No mining rewards? Are you taliking about bitshares that Dan created 5 years ago? Genious
